Why Guardian Trust?
Why Guardian Trust?
Guardian Trust is proud to celebrate nineteen years of service to our beneficiaries and their families! Our team continues to grow as the needs of our beneficiaries grow, but our personal touch and client-centered focus remains.
It is our firm belief that our professional knowledge and ability to communicate effectively is the foundation to our success. Our Co-Trustees Travis D. Finchum and Kole J. Long are experienced, practicing attorneys with combined expertise of over 30 years serving the elderly and those with special needs. Additionally, Mr. Finchum and Mr. Long are both Board Certified in Elder Law.
Our team of administrators take great pride in the high quality of service they provide each day. Distribution requests are processed expeditiously and a payment acknowledgement is always provided. Beneficiaries receive quarterly statements and up-to-date accountings upon request. Unlimited distributions, bill payment, phone calls, accountings, and postage are all included in our annual fee unlike many other companies. Investment fees are also included for our Pooled Trust clients.
We take a very individualized approach to administering trusts since we understand that trusts are not one-size-fits-all. Give us a call to see if we are a good fit for your client or family.
Now that you know a little bit about our team, we would like to share with you information as to why Guardian Trust is a Leader in the Special Needs Trust arena:
Our Beneficiaries get to know us, and we get to know them. You will always hear a familiar voice when you contact our office. You are able to speak with a team member during our business hours (Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm EST).
We have full-time bilingual team members (English and Spanish).
Our response time to a request is unmatched. We process distribution requests within 3 business days of receipt.
Our Co-Trustees are practicing Florida Bar Board Certified Elder Law attorneys who truly understand and appreciate the preservation of public benefits for our Beneficiaries with special needs.
In order to provide peace of mind we house our liquid funds at FDIC insured financial institutions. We also have insurances which provide coverages under an Errors and Omissions policy, a Cyber Security policy and a Fidelity (Crime) policy.
We utilize an independent CPA auditing firm to conduct an annual audit of all of our procedures and accounts.
Already have a relationship with an investment advisor? No problem. For larger, individual trust matters we are open to serving as trustee and allowing for you or your client to keep the investments with their advisor.
