Paul T. Burmeister

Paul Burmeister is an accomplished business executive and transformation specialist with senior level leadership experience working with “Blue Chip” companies in the food and consumer products industries including Unilever Foods and The Dial Corporation. With extensive knowledge in Strategic Planning, Business Development and Corporate Marketing he is also adept at diplomatic change and transformation. His marketing, sales management, and turnaround skills are supported by conceptual and analytical thought processes. His accomplishments on a professional level speak volumes to his resiliency, self-reliance, and creativity. Additionally, he also possesses a unique ability to build senior level management collaboration and convert corporate intent into action.

As an individual Paul’s success in both his professional and personal lives is based on his reputation. Built on high ethical standards, self-discipline and integrity, his vision is to add value to the corporations he works with, ensure alignment of corporate objectives, build collaboration, foster continuous improvement, and build confidence and trust with the customers he works with. On a personal level, Paul’s nephew Craig is an enormously important part of his life. Craig, who lives in Connecticut, is 37 years old and was diagnosed with Fragile X Syndrome as an infant. Having personally experienced the unconditional love and affection individuals with special needs bring to family and friends, Paul is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals with disabilities. All considered, he genuinely appreciates the opportunity to collaborate with the Guardian Trust Foundation and to provide support to individuals with special needs.

Paul Burmeister grew up in Connecticut. He is a graduate of the University of New Haven with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He also has as a master’s degree with concentrations in Marketing & Management from the same institution.

For the last 29 years, Paul has lived in Florida with his wife Roberta.
